WSU is supposed to be an all-female company but somehow Rick Cataldo has made sure that he's part of the company and perhaps the biggest diva of them all. In the first of his regular columns for 'Fighting Females' he takes a look back at the WSU Awesome Rumble show. He's back later today with his second column which will please everyone apart from arch-enemy Alicia.

Women's wrestling doesn't always get the coverage it deserves. That's not the case with 'Fighting Females' though as it's totally dedicated to the world of women's wrestling with the latest news, views, reviews, interviews from around the world ..... AND NOW HOT GOSSIP, AND THE PERSONAL OPINIONS OF I, THE BOY DIVA, RICK CATALDO!
So to kick off my new column, I thought I would share my views on this past weekend's WSU show. Okay so like to start off, on the way to the show I was travelling with my road companion Brittney Savage, my client in WSU of course, and before we got on the belt parkway heading to the city, I discussed with her how skirts are going to be MY new thing. Well low and behold, it seems more than half of the WSU locker room was rocking some sort of skirt that night. I know Brittney would never do such a thing like gossip about me and tell people what I want to do .... but someone definitely got MY memo, still I looked the best that night.
So moving along, this was not just any WSU show, nope ... this was the Uncensored Rumble! The card was stacked from beginning to end. The first match saw 2 WSU newcomers in Daizee Haze, a cute little flower child with a serious wardrobe change waiting to happen, and Cherry Bomb who was an all around cutie, cute make up, cute hair, and her outfit looked like a cute myspace layout. The second match saw MY Cosmo club members and the Tag Team Champions Jana and Cindy Rogers easily defeated rookies Divina Fly and Niya. Now just a word of advise, 1992 called and they want the 'fly girls' back. I mean seriously, that chica bonita deal with the wet looking hair might have happened in dangerous minds and such, but honey not in WSU. The next match that happened, I rather not get into details, okay, maybe just a little, ugh, I'm still not over it, between The Boston Shore (who wore skirts) trying to kiss me, and being woman handled by Latasha, and the Belle Saints (one of whom wore a skirt) I am disgusted to say that I felt pretty much raped especially by Sassy Stephanie, as she took be between her legs and did this thing were .....
.... Sorry I just vomited in my mouth and had to spit it up. Ahem. So on top of being defeated by Awesome Kong (who I never met because I choose to hide when she is around, not that I'm scared or anything, just because ummm) Rain debuted her "Army" of the skirt wearing Lacey, Amber O' Neal, Nikki Roxx, and Jessika Havok .... um yeah good for them but if they want real success in WSU, they would join the Cosmo Club ,,,, just saying. So Amy Lee and skirt wearing Mickie Knuckles are two chicks I would not want to steal make up from, first because there make up is gross, and second because they would like probably kill me ... no seriously. After watching there match, I'm so shocked an ambulance was not called. These two broads are the epitome of hardcore wrestling! If you live under a rock and missed this great show, I won't spoil much details in the Rumble itself, because I missed the after party, Obviously I was not the victor, but hot gossip time! Jazz was the victor and she did so by backstabbing her friend Angel Orsini, who recently has been falling from grace. Yikes, time to hang up the boots? Poor girl has been on a losing streak for almost a year, if I was her, I would seek help in the Cosmo Club ... just saying.
Icon is used, particularly in modern culture, in the general sense of symbol - i.e. a name, face, picture, edifice or even a person readily recognized as having some well-known significance or embodying certain qualities: one thing, an image or depiction, that represents something else of greater significance through literal or figurative meaning, usually associated with religious, cultural, political, or economic standing.
Mercedes Martinez and Alicia both respectively symbolize and represent WSU. They are in every sense of the word ICONS of this promotion. In Alicia's hey day during 2007, WSU was her playground, no one could hold a candle to her ... over the years Mercedes Martinez took the company to a newer level by spreading it around and defending the title every where she went .... during all this time I had my heart broken, and went threw many hair colours and styles, but as I was saying, these two finally met in one on one action in WSU to not only compete for the World title, but to have a battle of the egos of who is truly the best and the real face of WSU. In my personal maybe little jealous views, Alicia has it all, the looks, the attitude, the crowd eats from the palm of her hand, and she can brag all she wants because she has done it all, but love her or hate her, and I don't like her one bit ....you have to respect Mercedes .... she is a fighting champion ... no more no less. I have seen every main event in WSU, and can truly say this match was an epic fight! When the time comes, I strongly suggest Fighting Female readers to pick up a copy of The Uncensored Rumble 3 and witness one of, if not the greatest women's match this year!
So who was hot at the event? Duh! Brittney Savage! my home girl rocked a cute pink top, hot black booty shorts, and did what she said she would do, and that was keep her Spirit Championship Title intact!
Who was so not at the event? Becky Bayless, out of all the skirts being worn, hers was so tacky (okay it was cute, maybe if I wore it) she talked a lot of poop that night just to have beer spat in her face, she SO deserved it. Trashy girl. tisk tisk tisk.
In some quick gossip, Jazz has the right to face the World Champion, anytime anywhere, and from where I was spying on her conversation, she said something along the lines of "after summer time, is where it's really gonna heat up baby!" I heard threw the grapevine, (if that is what you call being on the toilet while Nikki Roxx and Rain are in the other stalls talking), they said Angel is a bitter woman and envies people like Alicia! Rain then said a certain hot Russian wrestler in Mexico swings my way .... OH ... MY ... GOODNESS!!
